Energy Discharge Capacitors, manufactured by Aerovox, part # PX480D60. Rated at 100kV 0.74uF, 3,700 Joules. Previously used in a Marx Generator at a major research institution. Castor oil impregnant. These capacitors are in fair physical condition, with a few surface scratches and some rusting along the length of each capacitor due to prior storage outdoors under tarps. Maxwell Technologies (TM) pulse capacitors, part #37667, rated at 35kVDC, .030 uF +/- 10%, ~0.02uH E.S.L. These capacitors were removed from industrial equipment (previously used). These capacitor banks contain 9 Electrolytic Capacitors in parallel, each rated at 400V 3900uF (35,100uF total), for use at temperatures of up to 105C. These are recent model capacitors with dates of manufacture ranging from 1999 to 2003. The capacitors were manufactured by Nippon Chemi-Con. Approximate dimensions: 15 x 6 x 12 inches (including the long metal terminals that stick off on one side). Each capacitor is about 2.5 inches in diameter and 5.5 inches long.
